Hi, I have been using the scope for a full cycle.I am 44 year old with 4 kids i am using the scope as natural family planing.I know that youn
don't endorse it but I think 4 Is a good number. I am showing partial ferning or sometimes full turning after ovulation all the way to my next period . I just want to know when can I have intercourse . My cycle is29 daysmy period is between 6 to 9 days . Please can you help no more babies ily |

Hi Gladis,
At 44 your fertility should be decreasing rapidly naturally. So maybe what youa re seeing on the ovulation scope is the change in hormones leading to menopause? When the scope shows ferning this indicates high levels of oestrogen. In a normal fertile woman the oestrogen is higher in the follicular phase (before ovulation) peaks 1 - 3 days prior to actual ovulation ( LH surge) then decreases and progesterone becomes the more dominant hormone leading up to menstruation.
Maybe you are seeing higher oestrogen levels becasue you are naturally going into menopause? The times differs from each woman to woman some go through menopausal symptoms for years others a few months. This is just my thought of could be going on at your age with your microscope results.
