   This month i only got a faint +opk for 2 days then the following day it was negative.  I never got a dark test line at all this month.
If you only get a very faint line what does this mean?  Does this mean that the egg was no good and ovulation did not happen?

Also, if you dont ovulate do you still get your periods??  Always wondered this.

	Hi Welcome to the forum Ovulation and menstruation are independant of one another so you can have one or both or none in any particular cycle, its all depends on your individual hormones. Normally annovulation will not stop you getting your next period a long as you have regular periods already. Regarding your opk's it depends on how often you were testinga dn what time of day you were testing? maybe you just missed the surge? a faint opk is still a negative, the test line and the control line both have to be the same colour intensity to be considered a true positive opk. You may get faint lines in the results region of the test leading up to ovulation and usually most women will then tend to test at least twice a day between 2pm - 10pm for best results and to make sure they dont miss the actual LH surge on their tests. If it your first month of using the opks just try test more frequently when you get that first faint opk then you will surely not miss it and will know for sure if you do or do not ovulate that cycle.
